- 1 medium head garlic
- 2 tsp avocado oil
Instructions
- Remove any hanging excess peel from the garlic but leave the cloves covered. Cut off ¼ of the head of garlic, exposing the tips of the cloves
- Drizzle with avocado oil. Place the garlic head into a small sheet ofaluminum foil, completely enclosing it. Place it into the dutch ovenbasket. Adjust the temperature to 400 Degrees F and set the timerfor 20 minutes. If your garlic head is a bit smaller, check it after 15minutes
- When completed, garlic should be golden brown and very soft
- To serve, cloves should pop out and easily be spread or sliced. Store in an airtight vessel in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
- You may also freeze individual cloves on a baking sheet, then store together in a freezer-safe storage bag once frozen.
