Ingredients
  

  • Trimmed scallion bunches
  • White wine 1 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp.
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Black pepper 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Set the dutch oven to heat up to 390F. Using a bowl, add and mix the white wine, flour and stir until it gets smooth. Add the salt, the black pepper and mix again. Dip each scallion into the flour mixture until it is properly covered and remove any excess batter.
  • Grease your dutch oven basket with nonstick cooking spray and add the scallions. At this point, you may need to work in batches
  • Leave the scallions to cook for 5 minutes or until it has a goldenbrown color and crispy texture, while still shaking it after every 2 minutes. Carefully remove it from your dutch oven and check if it’s properly done. Then allow it to cool before serving. Serve and enjoy.
